When it comes to your strength training sessions, speed counts. If your goal is to build muscle tissue, using momentum will NOT get you there. Proper muscle isolation is the foundation to quality workouts. If you’re heaving or resting your weights in an attempt to get more reps, your cheating yourself, but more importantly, your not maximizing your muscle building potential. SLOW DOWN…feel the burn. In that moment when you want to bail, breath, focus on your form, and stay with it! Be honest about your workouts. I guarantee, it will make a difference.
