FEED YOUR BRAIN

The alarm goes off before 7 am, you’re out the door before 8. Traffic, meetings, you skipped lunch. Maybe you ate breakfast, but it’s not holding you over & your day is jam packed. You’re cranky, starved, & now you’re stressed about what’s for dinner and if there’s anything in the frig  that’s going to hold you over till then. You can’t keep track or prioritize yourself after 3 o’clock.

I became a certified personal trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Super Slow, a specialized strength training program. Here, I discovered specific exercise techniques that were more appropriate for my body type. My nutritional journey began when I attended The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). 1. This sounds just like my life! I wake up early 7am every day except i get home at 9pm-ish 4 days of the week. It is unhealthy but i forget to eat sometimes because i am so jammed packed with classes/work. I should probably start prepping my meals for the week and take it on the go.

    1. You’re not alone!!Having prepared food on hand is the best way to support better eating throughout the day. I find that Crockpots are especially useful this time of year!
