I’ve been living, eating, and coaching a paleo-inspired lifestyle for almost 5 years. When my clients learn this, the typical question is “why”? My most simple answer is that I feel my best, everyday, when I follow this plan. My meals are simple, quickly prepared, and sustainable. I’m on my feet from 6 am-9 pm most days, and I rarely get tired. I’m alert, active, & emotionally balanced. I don’t live focused on food….I eat when I’m hungry, I sit down & enjoy my food, and I feel strong between my meals. My food is the foundation for my day, but it doesn’t consume me. I don’t count calories or measure my food. I know how to balance my meals with the highest quality food available to me. I became a certified personal trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Super Slow, a specialized strength training program. Here, I discovered specific exercise techniques that were more appropriate for my body type. My nutritional journey began when I attended The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). As a graduate from IIN, I learned how food and healthy lifestyle choices could empower me to life my life more fully.
